AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER provides free information & assistance to individuals with disabilities and older adults 60+ years old.
CASE MANAGEMENT provides help to the frail elderly and their families in making long-term health care arrangements.
SENIOR CENTERS provide noon-time meals and socialization for older adults.
INFORMATION & ASSISTANCE provides free confidential and current information to older adults and their families on variety of community programs and benefits.
HEALTH PROMOTION & DISEASE PREVENTION provides information and support to seniors, their families and caregivers with the intent to help the seniors improve their health and avoid illness.
LONG TERM CARE OMBUDSMON works to protect the rights of older persons residing in nursing homes or residential care facilities.
LEGAL ADVOCACY provides information and help to seniors having conflicts over public benefit programs, consumer fraud and to seniors who are abused, neglected or financially exploited.
FAMILY CAREGIVER SUPPORT PROGRAM is a new program that provides support to family caregivers of any age providing care for an older family member.
PERSONAL CARE services are for seniors who need help with at least two activities of daily living, such as dressing and eating. Other services may include grocery shopping, laundry and meal preparation. These services help the frail elderly remain in their own home.
MINOR HOME REPAIR helps the frail elderly by building a wheel chair ramp, replacing door or window screens or repairing broken steps.
SECTION 8 RENTAL ASSISTANCE helps qualified low income people of any age pay rent and utilities.
EMPLOYMENT and job training for seniors fifty-five and over is available through the Agency's State Older Worker Program and the Title V Senior Community Service Employment Program.
